Forgive & Forget

God, Im sorry but Forgiveness is just not in my DNA. So, I really need Your help. I know the only way to not stay hurt & angry is to forgive. (read: forgive not forget!).

What Do Teachers Make?

The dinner guests were sitting around the table discussing life.

One man, a CEO, decided to explain the problem with education. He argued, "What'sa kid going to learn from someone who decided his best option in life was to become a teacher?"

To stress his point he said to another guest; "You're a teacher, Bonnie. Be honest. What do you make?"

Bonnie, who had a reputation for honesty and frankness replied, "You want to know what I make? (She paused for a second, then began...)

"Well, I make kids work harder than they ever thought they could.

I make a C+ feel like the Congressional Medal of Honor winner.

I make kids sit through 40 minutes of class time, when their parents can't make them sit for 5, without an I Pod, Game Cube or movie rental.

You want to know what I make? (She paused again and looked at each and every person at the table)

I make kids wonder.

I make them question.

I make them apologize and mean it.

I make them have respect and take responsibility for their actions.

I teach them to write and then I make them write. Keyboarding isn't everything.

I make them read, read, read.

I make them show all their work in math. They use their God given brain, not the man-made calculator.

I make my students from other countries learn everything they need to know about English, while preserving their unique cultural identity.

I make my classroom a place where all my students feel safe.

I make my students stand, placing their hand over their heart to say the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, One Nation Under God, because we live in the United Statesof America .

Finally, I make them understand that, if they use the gifts they were given, work hard,and follow their hearts, they can succeed in life. (Bonnie paused one last time and then continued.)

Then, when people try to judge me by what I make, with me knowing money isn't everything, I can hold my head up high and pay no attention, because they are ignorant.

Perlu ka saya jadi cikgu?

Rasa stress pula bila bka FB smua member jadi cikgu, tu secara automatik buat saya terfikir kalau saya apply dah lama kerja tetap income tiap bulan masuk x payah fikir banyak..Tapi bila fikir minat langsung xda untuk mengajar saya tersenyum sendiri. Dalam hati fikir " buat apa saya mintak jadi cikgu kalau nanti mengajar terpaksa, kerja x ikhlas" ooo di situ saya boleh bayangkan keadaan diri bila kerjaya guru jadi pilihan. Memang x boleh imagine diri sendiri stress pas tu muka penuh jerawat, badan naik sebab asyik makan, pergi kerja macam pesalah hendak ke tali gantung, kaki terseret-seret sebab terpaksa. x mungkin!

Kalau kerjaya ini yang saya pilih, kenapa saya x teruskan kerja home teacher mengajar students saya dua orang yang comel loteh tu? Dengan gaji kira boleh tahan + makan minum + semua disediakan? Ajar pula Grade 8 dan Grade 5 silibus IGCSE xda la susah mana pun..

Tapi saya tamatkan kontrak dengan employer saya dengan alasan balik kampung, padahal duduk rumah menternak lemak (sila SPA panggil calon simpanan ni).. Perlu ka tunggu jawapan dari SPA sahaja? Atau dengar cakap family minta KPLI @DPLI macam abang saya? En. Kekasih Hati pun suruh susah-susah minta jadi cikgu habis cerita.. pastu terfikir lagi, askar x dengan cikgu, dengan nurse..so typical!

Apa-apa pun saya suka duduk rumah jadi datin, mungkin kerjaya terbaik untuk saya adalah seorang isteri & ibu yang 24/7 berkhidmat untuk family.. :)

Chicken Soup for the Soul

I loves reading & I loves books.. I really do especially when it come to this series..Just cant resist to grab 1 out of the shelves & flip through it..who don't rite? The stories are so inspiring & it makes U see something from others point of view.

MPH, POPULAR, KINOKUNIYA, BORDERS & the list goes on..just can't help myself..

Thanks 2 My Heart who bought 6 out of these 7 books..

Keadaan cuaca skg 2..

1 more thing to add, perasaan x time panas2 mcm ni skg smua binatang jd lintang-pukang? I mean the animal behaviours.. Sy noticed semut2 kat uma (ada 3 species ok) sentiasa bkeliaran smpai atas tilam tau, sya stiap hari kna gigit semut2 ni.

Then, ular pun byk yg kuar dr lubang dia..sy rasa sbb bahang cuaca panas 2 ular2 & binatang2 seumpama yg tinggal dlm tanah kuar nak cari air @ sejukkan bdn..

So frens bila nmpak binatang2 skeliling kita ni kuar jgn la pla btindak melulu trus bunuh ular 2 biar la dia pegi ska ati dia mana as long as dia x ganggu kita ok..

Fuhhh..panas btl cuaca skg, kmarin suhu smpai 31C hinggakan air paip pun panas bla nak mandi..

Kwn2 pla ramai yg sakit: demam, selsema, batuk2..

Kat uma sy 3org hsmate smua sakit & sy sgt takut tjangkit ok!!

So apa sy bt time panas & kmarau ni:

1. Minum air banyak2.
2. Kurangkan aktiviti bawah matahari.
3. Rehat spenuhnya di uma.
4. Banyakkan mkn fruits.
5. Jauhi orang2 yg sakit.

Thank God sya msh sihat ari ni although everyone arounds me sakit mcm2..

weekend yg happy..

kemarin sy shopping kat Alamanda..

sy masuk 7 kedai shaja & habis rm190 shaja..

hasil tbaik adalah barang2 body shop sbb diskaun smpai 70%..

MINI TROLI @ TROLI MINI

Ahaaa..sy jumpa 1 lg benda mnarik utk mgeumbirakan hati sy minggu ni..erm..mcm byk je benda baru sy bli minggu ni tmasuk la cupcake kit, jigsaw puzzles, jelly pens, dress, magazines, minyak aromaterapi, candles, oil burner, singlets bla3 (alas kaki pon ada bli tau!) the list goes on..not to mention my new pets “the white mice”..

Suppose white mices sy 1 pair tau, tp xtau napa sales asst 2 (sy ingat lg nama dia RAMESH) bg sy both jantan pla..sure la kna bli yg baru lg iaitu girl spya populasi btambah kan3? Comel sgt mice sy ni kalo babies dia lg comel tau, kecik je x nmpak mcm benda hidup pon..

Ok back 2 my mini trolley..ciut sgt sy bli kat LIVING CABIN kajang, last thurs kan both clacc CB & Eco Pop batal so sy pg la shopping..hee..harga troli 2 RM20.00 less 30% so its RM14 la..ada color putih, pink, coklat & baby blue mmg lawa..sy choosed white, siap ada tulis lg “ I LOVE SHOPPING” kat troli 2..

Plan mula2 sy nak letak acc rambut sy, mmg byk sgt acc rambut sy kat hometown 2boxes kat cni pon ada 2boxes besar..then smpai2 uma sy uruskan anak2 hamsters sy, sy bg la dorg try duk dlm troli 2 siap tarik dgn tali lg mcm baby walker 2 mmg ciut sgt!

Hamsters sy ska sgt tau, xpyah la sy pegang dorg lg letak je dlm troli 2 ble bwa dorg jln2 smpai ke dapur @ bilik..nnti sy bwa dorg pegi jln2 kat playground pla..2 pon kalo dpt, bdak2 arab kat hentian kajang ni “sakai” dlm erti kata lain jakun..nmpak pets msti nak pegang, dah la kasar nnti x pasal2 babies sy kna pnyakit pla..mana la tau pnyakit bawaan manusia bjangkit ke haiwan kan..

o..ada lg sy blikan food containers utk makanan hamsters sy, mula2 nak cari utk diri sndri tp sy decided bli yg ini..

Lastly sy nak share something..
